第三部分重点在于“如何解决特殊句式和长难句”。第十讲介绍分裂结构和平行结构，这两种结构常用于增强语言的表达力和逻辑性。第十一讲讲解虚拟语气、倒装句和强调句，这些都是英语中表达特定情感或强调的特殊句式。第十二讲通过实例分析，帮助学生应对复杂的长难句。

课后练习提供了实际的句子，让学生判断其属于简单句的哪一类，如”Many primary school children find writing difficult…”，这是一个表达感受的动词句；”Odours are also essential cues in social bonding.” 是一个主动语态句；”Inside the academies, science takes centre stage.” 则是一个主谓结构的简单句。
